One PhD position starting 1 September 2018
The Department of Language Studies in cooperation with the Graduate School of Gender Studies advertises one PhD position in the main field of English, Russian, or Spanish Literature, with a focus on gender. All positions are linked to employment at the department and candidates are affiliated with Graduate School of Gender Studies. Deadline for applications is 19 March 2018.

Four PhD positions starting 3 September 2018
The Department of Language Studies in cooperation with Umeå School of Education advertises two PhD positions in Language Teaching and Learning, and two positions in Educational Work. All positions are linked to employment at the department and candidates are affiliated with the Postgraduate School in the Educational Sciences.
